BIKE APPAREL IS NO LONGER JUST BIKE APPAREL

LTP designates six distinct bike apparel categories.

In the winter of 2016, LTP expanded the already strong team with Thomas Opstrup who dedicates all his time to biking. His passion and knowledge in the bike apparel segment is amazing. Thomas has been hired to bring LTP to the next level by supporting the growing number of bike brands who have decided to develop their collections in collaboration with LTP.

Thomas is already in the process of helping our development team become even stronger in the bike market. As he explains: "In the last 3 to 5 years, the cycling apparel market has been undergoing an enormous change. We have seen that the market has developed into different segments defined by the use of the apparel." LTP has consequently designated the following six bike apparel categories:

 

 

CCO Alex Ingildsen continues: "POC is an example of a bike brand who works with LTP in different kinds of bike apparel categories. The Swedish brand works very seriously with aerodynamic performance. They bring together knowledge and experience from the Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling team and aerodynamic specialist and experts in CDF (Computational Fluid Dynamics). All this they apply to the design of the aero cycling apparel. POC also uses the technical approach in their MTB apparel, but here they use the special protective fabrics combined with advanced fabrics that provide excellent moisture management."
